Lesson 1. Humanity is evolving day by day.
Humankind is forever evolving. We are coming up with innovative ideas and are developing in every way possible. Be it technology or biomedical engineering, we are progressing in every field. Humankind has developed the means to defeat famines, diseases and other calamities. But as we keep progressing, our ambitions and targets too should evolve accordingly. To get a sense of how far we have come, and all that we have achieved, let us take a trip down memory lane.
In France, during the time period between 1692 and 1694, a famine killed almost 15 percent of the entire population. The "Black Death" pandemic, which was infamously known for its huge death toll, killed between 74 and 200 million people in Eurasia during the 1330s. But nowadays, technology and science have evolved, and with this, mankind is also on its way to constant progression. We have found new ways and methods to deal with famines, pandemics and other calamities. For instance, even though Ebola is considered as a dangerous modern epidemic, it only killed 11,000 people. In comparison to the previous numbers, this seems very small.
Do you know what this means? This means that humankind can adjust its goals and evolve. With constant breakthroughs in the field of biomedicines and technology, humankind can now aim to live a happier and longer life. This has become possible only because we evolved and changed with the times. But we need to aim higher now.
Lesson 2. Humans are the most advanced species on earth.
Humans are undoubtedly the most advanced creatures, but how long will we be able to keep this up? Right from the start, we have tried to claim superiority over others. We have killed and domesticated animals, and have tried to impose our will on them, just to prove to everyone that we are more powerful and advanced. But the question arises, why do we have to abuse animals to impose authority?
Well, the answer is simple. It is because our mind and consciousness are wired that way. We have a so-called "Human Soul" that, according to us, differentiates us from other species. But how is our consciousness different from animals? After all, even science can't properly explain what consciousness really is. In reality, our cooperation and our ability to think rationally is what differentiates us from animals. For example: people collectively turn up on time to vote, at a particular place, while following all the rules and regulations. We respect and follow the government that is elected, and we
