Lesson 1. The Story of Julian Mantle.
Julian Mantle is a man who had it all. He completed his graduation from Harvard Law School and was a very successful lawyer. Indeed, he was rich, and was the owner of a red Ferrari. You could say that he was living the American Dream.
However, reality was very different. He was always stressed out and the pressure was too much for him to handle. Every day, there was a new case waiting for Mantle, and he had to solve it within a specific amount of time. The stress kept on increasing, and eventually, it got to him. One unfortunate day, Mantle suffered a heart attack in the courtroom, and fainted immediately.
After this specific incident, nobody heard from him, not even his colleagues. No one knew where he went after this. Soon, rumors started circulating that he had moved to India to live a more meaningful life. The rumors turned out to be true. Mantle had sold his precious Ferrari and even his mansion. He was trying to live a simpler life.
After three long years, he suddenly returned to his colleague's office. He looked like he had attained peace and harmony, and was healthy and happy. During those three years, Mantle was travelling across India in search of peace and meaning. There, he met yogis who defied aging and learned about the Great Sages of Sivana. These new findings motivated him to travel to the Himalayan Mountains. It was at this moment, when Mantle understood his purpose and found his soul.
Lesson 2. A special parable teaches Mantle about the seven principles of the Sivana System.
While wandering in the mountains, Mantle found some monks who introduced themselves as the Sages of Sivana. A monk named Yogi Raman decided to share some of his valuable wisdom. Mantle learned about the purpose of life and realized that being rich should not be the ultimate goal. He also found out how to be more creative by talking to these monks.
All these teachings were taught to him on one condition: he should go back to his native place and spread the word everywhere. And this is the reason why he went back to his old firm. The Sivana System consists of seven virtues, and each virtue is explained through a fable.
This particular fable takes place in a beautiful green garden, calm and peaceful, and blossoming with beautiful flowers<span style="font-weight:
